The biggest struggles to manage a community

Manage time and resources is the biggest struggle for 60%
of tech community organizers. They run communities in their free time and it is really hard to balance work and free time running a tech community, especially because it is necessary a big commitment to do it.

Here are some other challenges that organizers face in managing a tech community:

• money to cover in-person costs and organize free events (food, beverage, venue costs, cleanings, etc...);

• attendance drop;

• find people who are willing to help organize and manage things;

• find a topic to discuss.
